Cleansing Conditioner Test Run for Shiner and Bouncier Fine Hair

Originally posted on Bustle, beauty blogger and hair stylist Emily McClure chronicled her experience using Wen hair by Chaz Dean for the first time. Created by celebrity stylist, Chaz Dean, WEN Hair is a line of hair-care and styling products designed to add shine, volume, and strength to all hair types. This hair care line is produced by Guthy-Renker. Despite some initial reservations, hair enthusiast, Emily McClure decided to test out WEN Cleansing Conditioner for a week. The WEN Cleansing Conditioner works as an all-in-one product, serving as a shampoo, conditioner, and styling treatment to clean and hydrate hair.
Emily has short-to-medium length fine hair. Before using WEN, her initial hopes were that the cleansing conditioner would add volume and shine to her hair. After first using the WEN Cleansing Conditioner, Emily was very impressed by the results. Her hair felt fuller, and looked healthier. She also remarked that as she used the product she noticed less strands of hair falling out mid-shower. Throughout the week these results remained consistent; Emily’s hair was more shiner and voluminous. Her hair also looked amazing when paired with other styling products; however, due to the added softness of her hair, Emily’s curls did not last as long—an understandable effect of having softer, shinier hair.

The only downside to Emily’s WEN experience was that by morning Emily’s hair became oily and greasy looking. She wouldn’t recommend this product to those that liked to skip days between washing their hair, or for those that shower at night; but, overall, she deemed the WEN Cleansing Conditioner a great product for those with fine hair who liked to shower and style their hair in the morning and where looking to add extra shine to their hair.
