Andrew Rolfe: Transforming Africa One Child at a Time

Andrew Rolfe recently partnered with Ubuntu Fund to raise funds for their charity school in Africa. Mr. Rolfe is happy to meet the target they had set. He believes this funding will improve the lives of more destitute children in Africa.

Mr. Rolfe is the current chairman at Ubuntu Fund. This organization was launched to help talented kids from underprivileged homes in Africa. The Ubuntu Education Fund is a creation of two great minds moved by the spirit for helping. They were Jacob Lief and South African Mazilole Gwaxala.

Ubuntu Education Fund helps underprivileged children in South Africa. They nurture these children by providing proper healthcare and education opportunities. Ubuntu Fund aims to increase the number of children they help. This was the reason for the May fundraiser in London to raise over $972,960.

Ubuntu Fund exceeded the target they have set. The proceeds from the Gala will make a few improvements at the school in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The money will also fund a pediatric clinic next to the school.

Rolfe worked PepsiCo restaurant and Pret A Manger before joining Ubuntu Fund. He was the head of international operations in both companies. Rolfe spearheaded international projects in cities like Hong Kong, Tokyo, and New York.

Andrew Rolfe continues to touch the lives of more African children. Thanks to him, students like Sinesipho Rabidyani can pursue their dreams. Ms. Rabidyani won an Ubuntu Fund scholarship which got her through high school. She is now studying to become a lawyer. She cannot thank Mr. Rolfe enough for being a pillar of hope in her life.
