For actress Crystal Hunt, acting has been a lifelong pursuit. She had her first role onstage as a two year old pageant contestant and she has been performing ever since.
She followed that early appearance with several roles in commercials, including one for the Disney Company, which celebrated the 25th anniversary of Disneyland.
From this impressive beginning, Crystal went on to major roles on two top soap operas, “One Life to Live” and “Guiding Light,” for which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award. That’s an achievement for which she is justly proud.
Now Crystal is back in a major film release, “Magic Mike XXL,” which is the sequel to the 2012 film, “Magic Mike.” Both films star Channing Tatum as a male stripper who loves being onstage and who enjoys the camaraderie of his stripper pals. In the film, Crystal appears as an eccentric woman named Lauren who meets the men in their travels. According to Hunt, there was great camaraderie on the set, and she enjoyed the company of the other stars, including Andie MacDowell and Elizabeth Banks.
Along with her return to major feature films, Crystal Hunt is also returning to soap operas. She, along with a cast of other former soap stars, has a role in “The Queens of Drama,” which is a docu-series about soap actresses who create their own show. The reality behind the show is true, as the actresses all shared their own experience in the creation of the series. The result is a show that is uniquely entertaining, and it even features stars like “Knots Landing” diva Donna Mills.
