Alexandre Gama is an entrepreneur and the founder of an advertising agency called Neogama. After completing his studies in Advertising and Propaganda at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado he joined Standart Ogilvy as a writer. Once Alexandre left the company; Alexandre worked with several advertising agencies like DM9, Almap BBDO and Young & Rubicam. In the early 1990s, he became the most awarded writer in Brazil. By 1999, Alexandre decided to start his company Neogama which quickly sprouted to success in its first years. In a year’s time, the company won a master class at the Cannes Film Festival. The company is now among the top ranked advertising agencies in the country.
Over the years, Alexandre has also received various awards to recognise his works. About Magazine appointed him among the top ten professionals in Advertising I the country. He also is among the only six members of the Global creative board. He is an active participant the Board of Brazil Association of Advertising Agencies which highly advocates for the interests of advertising agencies in Brazil. In 2004 he was elected as the chairman on International Film Jury of British Association D& AD. He was also asked to represent his work at the Brazil Museum of Art.
